I realized after my last letter that I forgot a few things.
First off- S.T.R.U.G.G.L.I.N.G. during diaper changes. That girl does not have time to sit still. If they happen to be there- I will use extra hands. Or feet. Whatever's available.
Since she now puts herself to sleep, bending over the side of her crib with a flashlight in my mouth to clip her nails in the dark, while trying not to drool on her. It's a bit ridiculous really.
Noticing a bit of separation anxiety, perhaps? I think she's fine if I'm not around, but if I'm nearby, she tends to want me more than anyone else. I won't complain about that too much.
Loving that the weather is now nice enough that I don't need to lug her around in the carseat. It's so much better just leaving it in the car.
Feeling nervous and then relieved when she did extremely well during her first two visits to the nursery! She seems to love other kids. She didn't even rush over to me the first time I came to pick her up afterwards. (So, not sure why she is so much clingier when we're at home.)
Getting such a kick out of her new tricks. She seems to always find new sounds to make, whether it's some kind of spitting or squealing.
Playing hide and seek/tag from room to room. She gets really excited to chase us into the next room and we hear her squeal or sound like she's hyperventilating as she hurries down the hall. It's hilarious.
Watching her bounce and dance whenever she hears music playing. It's adorable, but I hope she gets Jered's rhythm instead of mine.
Getting her ready to go hang out in the shop with her Dad whenever the weather is above forty degrees.
Repeatedly putting books back on the shelves. A new game? I don't know. She goes for her board books, which is cool, but then she always goes for our red books- her favorite? Jered's Drug Guide for Nurses. We can either be quite proud or a bit worried.
Sigh. I could stare at that smile all day.
Later.

I seriously can't get over how incredibly ADORABLE she is!!!! I've deemed myself her honorary aunt - I can't wait to see her again!!
